With a 35-year background in business operations and accounting John brings expertise to the table that his clients find invaluable. A 1984 graduate of Chico State University, John found himself in the corporate world for the first phase of his career. The positive experiences there have led to a solid foundation for helping his clients, not only achieve their dream, but to do so with the peace of mind that he is part of the team working towards their success.
As an Enrolled agent, John is the primary tax preparer here and as such is highly trained and educated in everything tax!
Outside of the office John enjoys all things outdoors. He is a self-proclaimed foodie and if you have an hour or so he’ll tell you the many stories of the hundreds of restaurants he’s worked in through the years.
John enjoys his membership in Rotary of Chico, is a member of the National Society of Accountants and serves as CFO on the Board of Directors for The Lassen National Park Foundation, a non-profit organization.
Owner, Office Manager, Payroll Specialist
After 25 years in the retail sector and management, Piper has the experience it takes to help her clients manage their businesses more smoothly. She also has years of experience as a payroll administrator and bookkeeper. As Piper puts it, “how better to serve a client than by having shared the same experiences and issues”. As Padgett’s payroll specialist, Piper provides one on one service to our payroll clients that is a step above the rest.
Jennifer is the newest addition to our Padgett office and is likely to be the first to greet you when you visit. As our Accounting Assistant Jennifer is our primary processor and has firsthand knowledge of the ins and outs of her client’s businesses. She has worked in the corporate accounting world for nearly thirteen years.
Jennifer moved to Chico in 2017 from Southern California and she enjoys being with her family and pets in her free time.
